Navigation and wild camping expeditions and courses
At Snowdonia Peaks and Valleys we offer expeditions and courses in navigation and in wild camping. Pete Robertson and Louise Robertson will lead you through two subjects that often strike fear into people as being complex or bewildering.
We strip learning to navigate and wild camping down using straight forward language in a relaxed atmosphere to enable you to understand and learn how much fun navigation and wild camping can be.
Discovering the exhilaration of being able to navigate safely and confidently in bad weather or at night along with route planning and equipment selection are vital skills for anyone planning to head up into the mountains both in the UK and abroad.
We do not providing full Mountain Leader training courses but we are offering courses that will give you the grounding to be confident in the hills and mountains. This course is perfect if you intend on booking on a Mountain Leader Training course as preparation or if you feel you need some consolidation following on from a mountain leader course as a Mountain Leader refresher. This course is also perfect if you just want to gain navigation and wildcamping knowledge for your own personal enjoyment of the hills and mountains.
Expeditions and courses
Navigation and wild camping expeditions and courses can be tailored to suite your individual dates and needs. The duration of these courses can be made to suit so a one night camp with two days of navigation or an extended trip of two, three or four nights if that is what you prefer.
